Identifying Backyard Birds Identifying A Bird In My Backyard?

Identifying a bird in my backyard? - identifying backyard birds

I saw an unfamiliar bird in my garden today. I live in Mid-Michigan in a small area of agricultural land in general in rural areas. I think the bird is a species of birds (wild or commercial) was not a water bird. I guess it was a woman. It was dark gray, with faint stripes on the sides, if there is no information. It was very low (less than 12 inches) and was not too heavy or pear.

Ideas? Pictures would be helpful. Immediately able to identify the image.

Thank you, I'm all other questions for further reduction below.

This could be north of a quail.

U Me page should include information available. to determine the local wildlife. Audubon has a website, too. Google Michigan, bird watching, and from there
